      AnyPortrait’s demo shows a character casting shadows on 3D objects.

      Unity’s Sprite Renderer doesn’t produce shadows, how does AnyPortrait implement this?

      AnyPortrait uses a Mesh Renderer, not a Sprite Renderer, to construct the character.
      So it can be placed with 3D objects and cast shadows.
      You can change whether to cast shadows in the Bake Dialog.
