Update Notes | 1.6.2

(Build October 7, 2025)

Improved Editor Usability

  • Due to a conflict between Unity Editor shortcuts and the Gizmo change shortcuts (default Q, W, E, R), these shortcuts have been fixed to no longer work when special keys like Ctrl are pressed.
  • The UI colors for non-changeable shortcuts in the Shortcut Settings dialog have been changed to better distinguish them in the Dark theme.
  • A UI has been added that allows numeric input of the mesh’s pivot.
  • A button has been added to move the mesh pivot to the center of the vertices.
  • When modifying vertex positions in the Modify tab of a mesh, UVs are now automatically updated, and user edits are no longer possible.
  • Links to tutorials and contact pages in the Unity menu have been consolidated into a single “Tutorials and Support” menu.

  • The texture type of script functions that change custom properties, such as “SetMeshCustomImageAll,” has been changed from Texture2D to Texture, allowing inputs such as RenderTexture. (Link)
  • Due to the separation of the Unity Asset Store, packages are rebuilt depending on the store they are uploaded to.
  • Thanks to active user participation, many Chinese translation errors have been corrected.
  • An issue has been fixed where an error would occur in a script function that batch-controlled materials when all meshes of a specific material were included in the mask system.
  • Added clarification to the documentation for “When Clipping Rendering Doesn’t Work” (Link)

This version is an improvement based on user feedback received after AnyPortrait 1.6.0 and 1.6.1 were uploaded to the store.
The most significant change is the significant correction of errors in the Chinese text.
Since our team doesn’t have anyone fluent in Chinese, we’ve relied on translation software. However, thanks to the incredible help of one user, we were able to fix the translation errors.
We are truly grateful.
(Please note that this user’s contribution is separate from the Chinese store version described below.)

There have also been improvements related to editor usability.
If you experience any inconveniences while using the asset, please let us know.

We recently received notification from Unity that they are developing a separate Asset Store for Chinese users.
Therefore, in accordance with the new guidelines, AnyPortrait 1.6.2 will provide separate builds for both the global and Chinese store versions.
The differences between the global and Chinese store versions are as follows:

  • Default language settings
  • Tutorial documentation provided as PDF files
  • Target address of menu links to Asset Store, etc.
  • Whether or not to include video tutorial links

Other than that, both versions will be built with identical content and uploaded simultaneously.
Prices for the Chinese store have been determined to take exchange rate fluctuations into account.
A demo will also be built and provided separately for the Chinese store.

This is the first time we’ve created separate country-specific versions, so there may be issues.
If you encounter any issues, please contact us!
Thank you as always.
